I read a wonderful little book the other day which was recommended to a Meetup Group of women who want to succeed in business. My first thought was that it was just another "How to Succeed in Business" book, but boy, was I wrong.

What a pleasant surprise.

This 127 page book was the most inspiring book I have ever read. I could relate to something on every page. I had to force myself to put it down at the end of each chapter, so I could focus on what I had read and apply it to my life.

It not only deals with

  • how to succeed in business, but also
  • how to succeed in your personal life.

The principles are such that they produce a peacefulness that can only lead to better natural health.

The five principles, or secrets as they are called, are presented one at a time in such a fascinating manner, that you can't wait to go on to the next one.

They are so realistic and down to earth, that you are relieved to know that you don't have to be a high pressure salesperson, using deception or other tactics to coerce a person into buying.

They work in your personal life as well and lead to a fulfillment that we all dream of.

I don't want to give you too much detail, because I don't want to spoil the anticipation you will experience as you turn each page.

The name of the book is
"The Go Givers", by Bob Burg and John David Mann

I'm in the middle of reading two books which I am finding very informative and take a natural health approach.

The first is call "Death to Diabetes", by DeWayne McCully

Mr. McCully was an engineer who went into a diabetic coma because of a blood sugar level of 1337. Besides the high sugar, he had two blood clots, developed pneumonia and had to go on 4 insulin shots a day. Once home, his scientific instincts lead him into extensive research on diabetes.

Among his research, he looked at the impact of food, vitamins, minerals, fluids, drugs and exercise on blood sugar levels. Frequent blood testing and monitoring of what he ate, activity level and comparison of the impact on his blood sugars resulted in his being able to wean himself off of insulin and other drug.

He did this with the support of his physician who could see from his extensive record keeping that his body was changing for the better.

In his book,Mr. McCully provides great insight into how the body works, how foods and exercise effect it and gives guidance on how you can help your self.

I highly recommend this book for people who want to be in charge of their lives and their health through natural means.

The second book I am reading right now is "Fibromyalgia and Candida", by Dr. Linda T. Nelson, N.D. P.H.D.

Dr. Nelson, a former sufferer of fibromyalgia, explains what these conditions are, their symptoms, causes and a natural approach to eliminating the sources of the problem, rather than just masking the symptoms which convention medicine does.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to take charge of their health without drugs.

I will do a more complete review once I have finished the book.
