"How To Deal With Stress:Stress Relief Tips"Are you looking at how to deal with stress?
Here are some stress relief tips that are fun. I'll start with pets.Watch this and see what I mean I bet you feel better all ready.Pets can be a challenge at times, but they are sure good company. Being an owner of an 8 month old kitten, I can attest to that. I strongly recommend that you consider a pet over a year old, if you are not ready to deal with the energy, curiousity, and training needs of young cats or dogs. But, no matter what their age, they give you unconditional love and don't talk back to you. On a cold night, they are great for giving you extra warmth when they "snuzzle" up to you. They are always the first one to greet you at the door when you come home from a long, stressful day. Taking you dog for a walk when you get home or at anytime, not only reduces your stress, but it helps you unwind, and gives you great exercise Of course all people are not cat and dog fans, but as a stress reducer, most any pet works, especially when you are alone.
What a fun way of how to deal with stress
ExerciseExercise is a great way how to deal with stress. I can remember years ago coming home from work every night full of stress from the antics of one of my co-workers. I was her supervisor and would have fired her if I had been in the position to. Unfortunately, I was only second in command and did'nt have the authority. Even though I recommended that she be fired, my boss prided himself in never having fired anyone, SO... That's where the exercise came in. Everynight, as soon as I got home, I went for a walk. Every time my right heal HIT the ground, I said "#$*##@$#*" under my breath. By the time I got around the first block, I no longer had to say it, and I could enjoy the scenery and fresh air. Exercise should be fun, but also needs to be readily accessible when it comes to relieving stress. There are two things that come to mind that are readily accessible for you in times of stress. Walking is one, and taking some deep breaths and focusing on the breathing rather than the problem, is also a great stress reliever. Good nutrition, in combination with exercise, helps keep you on a more even keel so that things do not stress you out so much. I have written a free e book that you are welcome to download if you want more information about nutrition as it relates to exercise and stress reduction. HobbiesHobbies are also great ways how to deal with stress My hobbies include:
When my husband passed away several years ago, it was a very lonely and stressful time. I had to find a way how to deal with stress. About 2 months after he passed away, it went on sale, and I spent many days and evenings working on that wood lathe. It was a very quiet machine, so that the low hum was very soothing. You could see the block of wood take shape right in front of your eyes. And the best part was that I felt very close to my husband because this was a love we both shared. It was a great time of healing and stress reduction and helped me get through a very rough time in my life. Teaching ArtRecently, I've been teaching painting at a local art supply store. That is definitely a stress reducer after doing outside shows for so many years. No wind...No rain...No blistering heat...No freezing cold...No setting up and taking down for 3 hours at a time./p> All I have to do is fill two small pails with water and empty them at the end of the class. In between I teach to my heart's content...Now that's relaxing. For fun. I've been making short instructional videos on YouTube to supplement what I am teaching. Here's one for you to see.
