Understanding Free Radicals and Antioxidants
When free radicals and antioxidants equalize their electrons, the radicals are neutralized and pass out of the body through the kidneys without causing any damage.
Free radicals are highly reactive molecules that are unstable because of unpaired electrons in their outer shell.
Because they are unstable, they scavenge around until they find electrons they can attach to for stability.When they bring themselves into neutralization by taking an electron from healthy tissue,they cause oxidation of that cell and damage to it.
This is similar to a piece of metal when it oxidizes resulting in rust.
The free radicals attach themselves to healthy cell membranes, fatty acids, proteins, and eventually the DNA, and in doing so, damage the cells.
The radicals are toxic to the cells they attach to, and cause sufficient cellular damage to eventually kill them.
When free radicals and antioxidants exchange one electron, no damage occurs.
Dr. John Edwards on his CD "The Secret Behind Mangosteen and Minerals", copyright 2007, HotBizTools, compares these unstable fellows to a newly divorced man who runs around looking for a new wife to stabilize his life. Once he finds one, he settles down and drops out of the stream. To get a copy of this CD

Conditions Free Radicals CauseJust about any chronic, inflammatory, degenerative, immune-compromised disease can be related to oxidative stress from these unstable molecules. Just to list a few:
| * aging |
* arthritis |
| * asthma |
* atherosclerosis |
| * Alzheimer's |
* cancer |
| * chronic fatigue |
* cholitis/diverticulitis |
| * dementia |
* diabetes |
| * diseases of the eyes |
* fibromyalgia |
| * heart disease |
* kidney disease |
| * liver disease |
* and the list goes on. |
Sports injuries
I've singled out sports injuries because I, personally, never made the connection between physical activity, free radicals and antioxidants.
I always figured that exercise is good for you, and it is if you are a person who exercises on a regular basis and takes a good combination of antioxidants.
You need a good supply of antioxidants to counteract the free radicals you produce because of the increased demand for oxygen during exercise. You also need vitamins and minerals to make your muscles function efficiently.
How about you???
Do you exercise?
Do you take antioxidants to counteract the extra free radicals produced? How about vitamins and minerals?
If not, you could be hurting, rather than helping, yourself.
The solution is simple!
Continue exercising, but add a good combination of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants(preferably in liquid form) to your daily routine,
Muscle soreness, fatigue, injury, the need to take a few days off in between exercise....
These are all symptoms of too many of these unstable molecules hanging around. The proper level of free radicals and antioxidants can correct this.
I have written an ebook to help you have a better understanding of all the things your body needs to keep it healthy.Although the information is written as it relates to exercise, it also applies to everyday life so the ebook will be of interest to all of you.
This ebook is Free so take a few seconds to complete the form... In less than a minute, you will be reading this great book that will tell you How To "Keep Your Exercise Healthy" and You, too!!!

Dr. Barnet Meltzer has a very enlightening CD called "Your Workout Could Be Killing You", copyright 2006, Barnet Meltzer.
He is a well-known physician in preventive medicine and gives a great overview of what you need to do to protect yourself from the damaging effects of exercise, so you can enjoy all the exceptional benefits it provides. For more information,
