I've singled out sports injuries because I, personally, never made the connection between physical activity, free radicals and antioxidants.
I always figured that exercise is good for you, and it is if you are a person who exercises on a regular basis and takes a good combination of antioxidants.
You need a good supply of antioxidants to counteract the free radicals you produce because of the increased demand for oxygen during exercise. You also need vitamins and minerals to make your muscles function efficiently.
Do you exercise?
Do you take antioxidants to counteract the extra free radicals produced?
How about vitamins and minerals?
If not, you could be hurting, rather than helping, yourself.
Continue exercising, but add a good combination of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants(preferably in liquid form) to your daily routine,
Muscle soreness, fatigue, injury, the need to take a few days off in between exercise....
These are all symptoms of too many of these unstable molecules hanging around. The proper level of free radicals and antioxidants can correct this.
